Wed Brownies say a HUGE thank you to Burns Pet Foods

Wednesday Brownies are over the moon at Mr John Burns for kindly donating £200 towards their upcoming pack holiday in April.  After cancelling our fundraising ceilidh due to lack of ticket sales, the Leaders were worried about how to raise the extra money needed to pay for food for their holiday.  We did not want to ask our parents to contribute any more money towards the cost of our holiday so we were delighted when Mr Burns secretary phoned and said Mr Burns had seen through S1 Darvel that our ceilidh was cancelled and wanted to help by gifting some money.  It proves that there are marvelous kind people out there who support youth groups and the work the Leaders do,  A thousand 'thank you's' from us all Mr Burns!!
