The Rachel McColl Fund

This local charity has raised extensive funds for the Malcolm Sargent House in Prestwick. The fantastic facility gives families and children suffering from that dreadful disease a chance to have some respite in a lovely and relaxing location for a holiday break or specialist weekend. Steven, Lynn, Cameron & Harry presented a cheque from Rachel's fund to Malcolm Sargent House Prestwick for £1000 just before Christmas. They would like to thank everyone who donated to the fund in 2009.

They are also having a charity evening on Sat 1st May in Darvel Town Hall, comedian/cabaret act John Gillan from Blackpool. Tickets £10 per person with snack, if anyone would like tickets please contact Lynn on 01560 321690 or Ronnie on 07969267355. Any raffle prizes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the ongoing support from the community.

The charity evening on Sat 1st May was a great success, £4,500 was raised for Malcolm Sargent House, Prestwick. Many thanks to all who helped on and before the event. Thanks also for all the fantastic raffle prizes and donation that were given.
