The Skateboard park will continue to offer a cool outlet for young folk to release their energy certainly as the weather improves and the nights lighten.
Then of course there is the MUGA which has proved popular for the occasional kick about with a ball. There can always be more to do for young folk but they have to work at it as well. Let's look forward to a lively and safe 2010.
- I think also we need to advertise what is also provided by the voluntary sectors in Darvel, brought at a fraction of the costs of some clubs, there are for the girls Rainbows starting at 5 right up to Guides at 14-15, there are Beavers for the boys at 5 and 10 months leading up to Scouts at 14-15, there are also Rangers available, there is a host of so many things for our youth, not forgetting the youth club for teenagers on a Wednesday at the Town Hall.
