As we get into 2010 it is encouraging to see that we have three new businesses which have opened in recent times. The long standing Butcher's shop was changed to Wm Allan's some time ago but recently George McCulloch has bought the shop and sources all his meat locally something the Supermarkets can't do! He is just about to refurbish the frontage and he is committed to providing a skilful selection of the finest food. Owen's the Bakers is providing a lovely display of baking most of which is baked in house and Ning's Kitchen is providing the best of Thai food to give the area an International flavour. We are privileged to have a town that people are prepared to invest in and their time and resources are appreciated. We can all show that appreciation by shopping locally, it makes sense!!
