There is a comprehensive document available at the Loudoun Medical centre, Lochore Terrace, Darvel which details the services available at the practice.

The leaflet will benefit existing patients and those considering registration. It gives the range of clinics from Antenatal to Minor surgery and of course help to stop smoking. Lots of good information on test results, repeat prescriptions etc. Useful telephone numbers including the local McConnell's Pharmacy on 01560 320309, where the pharmacist will be able to give free health advice for a number of minor ailments. It also lists the full team of doctors,nurses, health visitors, midwife,cousellor,health care assistants, Practice manager,medical secretaries and the very important reception staff. It is vital to realise the size and range of the facility and to know where you can obtain help and support. The booklet is available at the reception desk and is very worthwhile keeping to hand in your home.
