Darvel Masonic Club helps local Groups

  • A good day for giving

On Saturday December 3, Harry Barclay the R.W.M was pleased to present cheques in the club to representatives of the following local youth organisations: - Darvel Scouts £100, Guides £100, Boys Brigade £100, Darvel Youth Football £100. The Mothers and Toddlers received £100 and Combat Stress £250.

Along with money donated earlier to Darvel Old Folks the significant amount of £850 was given to help local groups and was very well received. The Club would like to give sincere thanks to everyone who donated and made this presentation possible.

I am proud to be a past master of Lodge Darvel whom along with Darvel Masonic Club were proud to present these cheques to the various charities, we as freemasons make this an annual event, supporting our vilage and its groups.
