The Brownies and Rainbows coffee Morning on Saturday was a great way to spend a chilly January morning, it is just a pity more patrons did not take advantage of the event.

Those that did were rewarded with a welcome tea or coffee and an array of home baked goodies. There were a number of bargains to be had and Tom and Ann Worn from Newmilns had great success on the bottle stall. The Rainbows sang some very Scottish songs and the leaders are to be congratulated on getting as many young folk to help and perform. The effort was appreciated but the turnout did not give the funds the boost they so vitally need. There are more photos in the People (2)section.
