Anyone remember?

  • Outside the Church

Permission was granted to reproduce this Photo from "The Pictorial History of Darvel" (Alloway Publishing) taken in 1988. At the entrance to the Central Church in Hastings Square. At The door is the Rev. Ian M.W. Collins only the second Minister in its 100 years existence. "The children are Darvel's future and they will see their town far into the 21st Century and witnress many changes and perhaps pass on some of the old traditions and values"

Do any of the Chidren remember the occasion?

I'm in the pic, I was 7 years old and vaguely remember it being taken :)

Memories, Nostalgia & History

History doesn't have to be in black & white

Your memory of a local character or a school photo from the last ten years can be just as interesting as wars and Victorians.
